General Insurance
By 'General Insurance' we mean those kinds of products which are annually-renewable contracts. Probably everyone is familiar with these, as most of us will already have experience of things like motor or house insurance. A less obvious annually-renewable product is an Accident / Sickness and Unemployment (ASU) contract.
These can be broken down into the AS and the U elements, (in case you have a need for only one part), or kept as a whole policy. With these, you can insure your mortgage repayments, and also associated mortgage costs, (within limits). You can also chose the length of benefit period (usually 12 or 24 months), and also set the point at which the benefit payments kick in.
Some of these products are naturally dealt with by us when discussing other areas. For example, in a mortgage meeting we would usually look at buildings and contents insurance and ASU contracts.
Of course you are welcome to still speak to us about these areas if you prefer.
